On Friday the 5th of October 6th class did a treasure hunt, with sweets. Everyone had one sweet and co-ordinates. Ms. Keane gave us a map each of the school grounds with co-ordinates on them. Half of them were hidden by Orlagh and Morgan. Then after big lunch Ms. Keane let some people go out and hide the sweets.
During big lunch we went out for the sweets. It was like a race to find your sweet before one of the younger classes did. Some of the class found it hard to find theirs and needed help from their buddies. Eventually everyone had their sweet. Some of the flavours were Strawberry, watermelon, bubblegum and black liquorice. Then we had a party.
That was a very fun treasure hunt and we learnt a lot about maths co-ordinates and mapping in Geography too. We all enjoyed it.
