In school Ms Keane taught us about some of the old traditions connected with Hallowe’en and Autumn.
One of the children in our class kindly brought us in conkers because Ms. Keane had been talking about games that were played in the past We set up an “assembly line” like in a factory, to put twine through the conkers. Then we got to play conkers and try to hit our friends conkers and break them to see who was the “conkerer!”
We had great fun!
