At the beginning of the year we made sock puppets. We all had to think of creative ways to make them. We tried to make them look silly, like giving them a moustache or pipe cleaners or arms and eyebrows.
Some of the ideas of the sock puppets are: Clothes pegs as ears, pipe cleaners as moustaches and beads as the eyebrows.
Some people did all green, others did different colours. We did these on white socks to make the sock puppets stand out more.
For the hair some people used string, wool, pipe cleaners and whatever else we could find. For the nose we could use corks, beads and other materials that we could find.
For the mouth we used green, yellow, pink and blue feathers. For the eyes, it was hard to find stuff so most of us used buttons.
Everybody used them to do Comhrá in Irish class, we played with them, talked with their friends about them, messed around and played. We had a lot of fun making the sock puppets.
