We have all made our own bookmarks in the class. On one side of them we wrote the highlights of our lives. On the other side of them we drew a picture of the most important highlight, or the one we liked the best. We wrote things like our first birthday, our first day of school, First Holy Communion, starting a sport or instrument or any other hobby, when you got a pet, a big competition and so on.
Then we coloured them in and looked back over them to check spellings or any other things that needed to be corrected. Then we laminated them and they were ready to be used.
The bookmarks were a great idea and they turned out really well. The best thing about them is that they remind us of all the good times in our lives.
